Hi,

my name is Monique. I am a registered therapeutic counsellor, an immigrant, a daughter, a spouse, a sister, a lifetime dog owner. My mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of people and dogs!

Here is why...

Back in 2006, I was having ongoing challenges with my dog's behaviour (her recall sucked, she didn't listen, and she would pee everywhere).  I was becoming frustrated with myself and hopeless as she was this sweet young dog and still not house trained and in much need of structure and leadership.

I was at the end of my rope!

What I didn't realize is that my dog's challenges were a direct reflection of a household member, who was suffering in silence with extreme, long-term depression. I wasn't even aware of the challenges they were having, but my dog sure knew and she was trying to tell me.

Despite the difficulties, I refused to give up hope. And realized that it was not her fault...

Proper help and action was put into place. She finished all levels of obedience classes and became a certified therapy dog. She was my left hand and I became passionate about dogs and helping other people and their well being.

I will work with you, to create a more joyful life and if you are a dog owner, a harmonious life for you both.  Your dog can become part of your therapy. I am passionate about people, their culture and dedicated to the well-being of dogs and their owners.

Note:  If your dog shows aggression towards people, it is best to consult with James Tsai, a dog behaviourist.

Co Therapist

I am very sad to say that my co-therapist Chloë is no longer with us. As a registered international therapy dog, she has comforted so many people and has touched so many lives in general! I am so grateful to have had her for 16 years. She was and still is my inspiration for the work that I do now. I will keep her spirit alive and make new memories as her stories continue to be told. She may have died, but my love for her never will!
